Local Business Wins Award for 'Going Green'

Mocktree Barns Holiday Cottages have just been awarded GOLD by the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

This makes the South Shropshire business one of only 7 tourism businesses with this accolade in the whole of the West Midlands area and only the second self- catering business. 

Owners Clive & Cynthia Prior commented, "We are delighted, and hope to attract more guests looking for a 'green' holiday."

As part of their green initiative, Clive & Cynthia are pleased to reduce their tariff by 10% for all guests arriving by public transport.  Mocktree Barns is located just 7 miles away from the Ludlow main line station on the Manchester - Cardiff route, and there is also a country bus service passing the gate. Cynthia & Clive are also very happy to suggest public transport options for those wishing to reduce their car use once they are here.
