Experience a true family Christmas this year with a visit to Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom and Christmas Tree Farm.

23rd November 2012

Make a day of it and come to Hoo Farm, the smell of pine from the thousands of real Christmas trees greets you when you arrive and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.  Take your time to find your perfect family tree and if dad is feeling particularly active you can cut or dig your own from the Christmas tree plantation.
Once the Christmas tree is found, the children will love Christmas World, the animals have their stockings and there is also the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree. Walk along secret pathways to Father Christmas’ log cabin where he will listen patiently to those special present requests whilst Mum and Dad or Grandma and Granddad take photos of the occasion.

A visit to the Nativity Barn is a must for its here that the real meaning of Christmas is brought home to young and old alike.  There is an awe inspiring atmosphere with the animals gathered around the nativity scene and daily animal nativity plays recreate the Christmas story in a refreshing take from the animal’s perspective.  The Nativity Play happens weekends at 2pm with the animals taking the starring roles and your children can join in - this is a play where anything could and often does happen!!

The Cowshed Tea Room offers a selection of Home-made hot snacks, soup, turkey baps and mince pies, whilst the Gift Shop has an abundance of unusual gifts, stocking fillers, wreaths, holly and mistletoe - any excuse for a Christmas kiss!

Hoo Farm is a haven of Christmas fun, other attractions this year include The Christmas Hoollee walk, craft keepsakes that can be created, taken home and brought our year after year and of course Father Christmas' deer!!
