BARGAIN Booze retailers and their suppliers enjoyed a day of fairway fun on the renowned courses at Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Spa and Golf.

More than 80 people came together from across northern England and the Midlands for the corporate golf day at the four-star Shropshire hotel.

As well as enjoying an 18 hole shotgun start on the Emerald course, the golfers were also treated to bacon rolls and coffee in the morning and a barbecue in the evening.

"We are among the top 10 golfing venues in the UK so what better way to build business connections than playing a round on one of the country’s best courses," said Terence Southward, General Manager of Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Spa and Golf.

Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Spa and Golf has two 18 hole courses, designed by TV golfing stars Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas in 1975, which cater to both inexperienced and veteran players.
