In this case she had not agreed to any entry, asked for a copy of the contract with her signature on and refuted the bill.

New aircraft arrivals heading to Cosford

The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford will be welcoming a collection of new aircraft to the site later this year as it prepares to celebrate and commemorate the centenary of the Royal Air Force in 2018. New arrivals will include a Wolverhampton built Boulton Paul Defiant Mk 1, the last surviving example of its kind, plus a rare Messerschmitt BF109G-2.

Keith Williams has been appointed as head golf professional at Hawkstone Park in Weston-under-Redcastle, a role he previously held between 1986 and 1995 after he had played on the European Tour for four years.

New walks leaflets to launch at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre

With thanks to funding from the Shropshire Hills AONB Conservation Fund, MFG solicitors and Craven Arms Community Food Initiative Fund, Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre are refreshing their circular walks leaflets. Grow Cook Learn, local charity now running the visitor centre, has secured funding to increase their walks offer from four leaflets to six, including new routes and improving the existing ones.

After nine months of redevelopment the Royal Air Force Museum has officially launched its new website. With a fresh, open sky-scape design; a greater emphasis placed on rich content, such as video and podcasts; and much more intuitive navigation, the new website allows online visitors to interact rapidly with the Museum’s full collection before visiting the London and Cosford sites.

Prees Heath Common Reserve Open Day

The former RAF control tower will be open from 10.00am to 4.00pm. The tower was conserved over 3 years ago with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Natural England and is an important historic building as well as a significant feature in the landscape. Two rooms will not be accessible due to the presence of bats.

Premier of Past Lives: New film made from local community cine footage

On Saturday, 20th September 2014 at 6pm, Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust is hosting a one-off showing of Past Lives Ironbridge at Enginuity. This new film has been made from vintage community cine film of Ironbridge, Madeley, Jackfield, Coalbrookdale, Wellington, Broseley and surrounding areas from the 1950s onwards and will be shown with a live music performance.
